***Concept Los Angeles Confirms Dates and Schedule for Spring 2012 Collections***
As Concept enters it's 4th season we've worked hard to redefine the face of fashion week in Los
Angeles. Los Angeles is taking it's place on the worldwide stage for fashion. Art and fashion share the
limelight on an innovative platform reflective of the creativity that fuels Los Angeles.
This season we welcome 24 designers to the Ace Gallery for three nights of runway shows and
innovative installations and will close at Siren Studio’s with an exclusive, industry only event.
Runway presentations include; Jen Awad, Bryan Hearns, Alana Hale, Thai Nguyen, Nuvula, S&G,
Sachika and Nami. Presentations include Mike Vensel, Mo Wear, Curly V, Michelle Laine, Henry
Duarte, Liason, ISM Mode, KITTINHAWK, Elaine Marie, Debakalis, Valerj Pobega, Eduardo Lucero,
Jessica Huang and Melanie Mills x Summer Rose.
Hair and Make-up support for all shows is provided by Gleam by Melanie Mills, Studio DNA and Sebastian Professional. Aside from being the Los Angeles venue for upcoming and established designers we're excited to
announce some brand new projects and partnerships for the Spring 2012 season. We'll be getting our "social media on" and collaborating with Los Angeles blogger collective Two Point
Oh! LA to host an onsite bloggers lounge. Five "Official Concept Bloggers" will keep our followers and theirs updated via Twitter live from the Concept floor.
A closing night event, in partnership with Siren Studios, will feature live music, photo sessions, meet
and greets with our designers and a live bloggers lounge in a special event that puts every attendee in
the mix and part of the action. Complimentary cocktails provided by Pink Pigeon Rum.
Immediately following Concept, in a first for Los Angeles, we look forward to welcoming the British
Fashion Council and the LONDON SHOW ROOMS to Ace Gallery in an event that will showcase some
of Britain's finest talent to press, celebrities, buyers and stylists. World renown designers such as
Erdem, Jonathan Saunders and Mary Katrantzou will be showcasing their lines from October 17th-19th
with the support of sales, media and international marketing.
